WILLMAR — Students got to show off their style Friday evening as students showed up in cars ranging from cool, classic Corvettes to tractors as dates arrived for this year's prom festivities at Willmar High School.

The school held a scaled-down prom last year, with a longer parade route around the Civic Center next door. The year before, the prom was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Willmar High School prom took place May 6, 2022, with the theme of "Island Vibes."

This year was a return to a more normal prom for students, with hundreds of spectators packing the aisle surrounding the grand march route outside, where couples pulled up in their vehicles before walking the runway.
The theme for the evening was "Island Vibes."
