Lake Lillian man, two passengers injured Saturday in ATV crash

A 30-year-old Lake Lillian man was injured when the ATV he was driving went off the street and rolled. He was transported to the hospital. His passengers were treated at the scene.

LAKE LILLIAN — A 30-year-old Lake Lillian man and his two passengers were injured in an ATV accident in Lake Lillian on Saturday, Aug. 6, according to a news release from the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office.

However, Willmar Municipal Utilities has found a way to finance the project in-house to significantly decrease the expected rate spikes.
Bethesda will be adding hospice to its family of senior care services offered in west central Minnesota, as well as expanding its independent senior living communities in New London and Willmar. The announcements were made Sunday during a celebration to mark the nonprofit, faith-based organization's 125th anniversary.

The accident occurred at 10:48 p.m. when the side-by-side ATV the man was driving eastbound on Park Avenue ran off the end of the street and rolled into a cornfield, according to the release.

The 30-year-old man was transported to CentraCare — Rice Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. His passengers, a 21-year-old Bird Island man and a 25-year-old Cold Spring man, were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash, and the investigation is ongoing, according to the news release.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Lake Lillian and Willmar/CentraCare Ambulance Services.
