WILLMAR — Furry, four-legged friends stole the show at the Kandiyohi County Fair bright and early Wednesday morning, as 4-H kiddos brought their canine companions to the grounds for a chance to see just how well they are trained.

With the multi-day fair now in full swing, Wednesday morning's 4-H dog agility judging was one of the first of many family-friendly events to be held.

Each day, a wealth of events, carnival rides, games and more will be on tap for anyone of any age to enjoy. To see a full schedule of upcoming Kandiyohi County Fair events through Saturday, visit www.kandifair.com .

A news release from the Stearns County Sheriff's office said 66-year-old William Henrichs, of St. Cloud, was rescued from Rice Lake by another man with a pontoon after Henrichs' boat capsized Monday afternoon on Rice Lake. According to the release, "he was cold but otherwise uninjured."
