RAYMOND — Early morning sunlight reflected off the dewy grass along the rolling hills of Hawk Creek Country Club Saturday morning as 63 competitors gathered for a friendly run during the Hawk Creek Run Around Raymond 5k race event.

The event, which is part of the town of Raymond's annual Harvest Festival, was one of many family-friendly fun events held throughout the day Saturday in the small farm community.

Michael Switzer of Stillwater was the top finisher for the male competitors and overall, crossing the finish line with a time of 18 minutes, 28 seconds.

Prinsburg resident Sidney Duininck was the top finisher for the female division, completing the course with a time of 22 minutes, 27 seconds.
