WILLMAR
— With the holiday season just around the corner, folks over at Stacy's Nursery & Floral kicked off the season by digging into some festive decor and helping customers design their very own spruce top pots to adorn their front porches this Christmas season.
"We've been doing it for a few years now," nursery co-owner Lora Miller said of the event. "We are just really into Christmas and love decorating both indoors and outdoors for the holidays. We're all about traditions and keeping Christmas alive."
Attendees of Saturday's workshop — a spruce top potting party — were supplied with a pot and a selection of items to create their decoration, ranging from vibrant-colored pine cones to Christmas lights.
According to Miller, the events will continue into the month of December for anyone who missed out this past weekend.
