Arrests

WILLMAR — A 61-year-old man was arrested at 5:03 a.m. Sunday during a traffic stop on the 300 block of 7th Street Northwest. He is currently in the Kandiyohi County Jail pending a court appearance on multiple drug charges.

WILLMAR — A report was taken at 9:02 p.m. Saturday of a dark colored pickup weaving all over the road in the area of U.S. Highway 12 and 45th Street Northwest. Upon finding and stopping the vehicle, a 21-year-old man was arrested.

WILLMAR — A 30-year-old man was arrested on a warrant after a report of disorderly conduct was taken at 1:44 p.m. Saturday on the 1000 block of Olena Avenue Southeast. He is currently in the Kandiyohi County Jail pending a court appearance for revocation of stay or initiate probation revocation.

WILLMAR — A 22-year-old man was arrested for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at 3:07 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Highway 23 and County Road 9 Northeast.

WILLMAR — A 32-year-old man was arrested for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at 1:22 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Highway 71 and 60th Avenue Northeast.

NEW LONDON — A Kandiyohi County Sheriff's deputy was asked at 10:51 p.m. Friday to meet a Stearns County Sheriff's deputy near the intersection of Highway 23 and Highway 9 Northeast to pick up a 55-year-old woman, who Stearns County had arrested on a Kandiyohi County warrant. The woman is currently in the Kandiyohi County Jail pending a court appearance for a felony fifth-degree drug charge.

Disturbances

WILLMAR — A caller at 10:43 p.m. Saturday reported a loud party that occurs every six weeks on the 1000 block of Pleasant View Drive Southeast. The party had quieted down this night, but the caller wanted it documented and asked that law enforcement officers drive by the area a few times during the night.

WILLMAR — A report was taken at 10:33 p.m. Saturday of a large group of people fighting near the intersection of Robert Street and U.S. Highway 12 Southeast. Law enforcement was unable to locate the group of people.

WILLMAR — A report was taken at 10:09 p.m. Saturday of a vehicle driving on the grass and trail on the 1000 block of Lakeland Drive Southeast. The driver and everyone else in the parking lot was advised to leave the area.

SPICER — A report was taken at 2:28 a.m. Sunday of a heavily intoxicated male on the 5400 block of 111th Avenue Northeast. The caller reported the man had knocked on their door, tripped down some stairs, and was now walking in the area. Law enforcement officers located the man face down in the ditch near some bushes. The man's license showed any use of alcohol invalidates his license and a preliminary breath test showed he was at 0.181 blood alcohol content. The man was given a ride to his residence nearby and turned over to a sober party. A B-card violation report was sent to the proper authority.

SPICER — A noise complaint was taken at 1:26 a.m. Sunday on the 12200 block of County Road 9 Northeast. The party was told to keep the noise down and advised of the county's social host ordinance.

WILLMAR — A report was taken at 8:46 p.m. Saturday on the 1000 block of 60th Avenue Northeast of a person showing up at a family member's home trying to get money. Law enforcement officers assisted in getting the person some clothes and shoes, and advised them to call before arriving at the residence in the future.

WILLMAR — A report was taken at 12:47 p.m. Saturday of a couple yelling at each other near the intersection of County Road 9 and 15th Avenue Southeast. Law enforcement officers confirmed it was only a verbal fight and cited one of the parties for driving after revocation.

SPICER — A report was taken at 11:42 p.m. Friday of loud music and fireworks on the 12100 block of 42nd Street Northeast. Law enforcement officers were unable to locate the disturbance.

SPICER — A report was taken at 5:34 p.m. Friday of people parked at the dock and riding jet skis in the swimming area on the 100 block of Lake Avenue South. The offenders were told they cannot leave their boats tied to the boat landing docks.

Crashes

WILLMAR — A report was taken at 6 a.m. Sunday of a vehicle that ran off the road and hit a sign at the intersection of U.S. Highway 71 and 41st Avenue Northeast. The call was referred to the Minnesota State Patrol.

SUNBURG — A report was taken at 4:19 a.m. Sunday of car parts all over the road near the intersection of Highway 9 and County Road 1 Northwest.

LAKE LILLIAN — A law enforcement officer at 5:51 a.m. Saturday reported coming upon a vehicle that was off the road near the intersection of County Road 8 and County Road 4 Southeast. The vehicle slid in the ditch when attempting to turn around due to heavy rain, and they were able to get it out of the ditch.

WILLMAR — A report was taken at 5:29 p.m. Friday of a car in the ditch with airbags deployed on the 7800 block of 53rd Street Southeast. Assisting on the call were Blomkest Fire and first responders, and Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad.

Agency assist

SUNBURG — Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office at 11:24 a.m. Friday located a missing runaway juvenile from McLeod County on the 23900 block of 80th Street Northwest. The juvenile was transported and turned over to McLeod County's authority.

Theft

ATWATER — A report was taken at 1:25 p.m. Saturday of a work truck that was stolen from the 100 block of Atlantic Avenue East.
