Driver injured in single-vehicle crash in Preston Lake Township
RENVILLE — Renville County Sheriff's Office received a call Wednesday at 6:27 a.m. reporting a one-vehicle crash in Preston Lake Township on County Road 20 just south of 840th Avenue, which is 10 miles northeast of Buffalo Lake.
A 2014 Ford Fusion traveling northbound on County Road 20 went off the roadway and hit a field approach. The driver, a 20-year-old male from Glencoe, was transported to Hutchinson Health with non-life-threatening injuries.
Assisting at the scene were the Renville County Sheriff's Office, Minnesota State Patrol, McLeod County Sheriff's Office and Buffalo Lake Ambulance.
Crashes
WILLMAR — A hit-and-run crash was reported Thursday at 12:20 p.m. at the intersection of Fifth Street and Trott Avenue Southwest. A car backed into another car, then left the scene.

WILLMAR — A report was taken Thursday at 9:44 a.m. of a two-vehicle accident with damage to both vehicles at the intersection of Ann Street and Minnesota Avenue Southeast. There were no injuries.
WILLMAR — A report was taken Wednesday at 6:57 p.m. of neighbors who have hit another neighbor's car with their vehicle multiple times in the 600 block of 16th Street Southwest.
WILLMAR — A report was taken Wednesday at 4:15 p.m. of a fence damaged by a neighbor crashing into it in the 600 block of Monongalia Avenue Southwest.
WILLMAR — A report was taken Wednesday at 5:21 p.m. of a minor crash that happened on Highway 23. Insurance information was exchanged. The reporting party was advised to call the State Patrol if the incident report was not sufficient for insurance purposes.
Weapons complaint
WILLMAR — A report was taken Wednesday at 9:05 a.m. of a front door shot with a BB gun at a business located in the 2400 block of First Street South.
Arrests
WILLMAR — A 24-year-old man was arrested on warrants Thursday at 12:46 a.m. in the 700 block of 19th Avenue Southeast. He is currently in custody in the Kandiyohi County Jail awaiting a court appearance on four felony charges of violating a harassment restraining order.
WILLMAR — A 32-year-old man was arrested on warrants Thursday at 9 p.m. on the 400 block of First Street South. He is currently in custody in the Kandiyohi County Jail awaiting a court appearance of a felony fifth-degree drug charge and misdemeanor disorderly conduct.
WILLMAR — A 20-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday at 3:50 p.m. and transported to the Kandiyohi/Renville County line and turned over Renville County Sheriff's Office after being located on the 1200 block of Becker Avenue Southwest.

Thefts
WILLMAR — A report was taken Wednesday at 4:19 p.m. of the theft of two Coleman motorcycles in the 300 block of Ferring Street Southeast.
WILLMAR — A report was taken Wednesday at 3:48 p.m. of the theft of a trailer in the 2300 block of Highway 12 East. The reporting party also reported credit card fraud.
Criminal damage to property
WILLMAR — A report was taken Wednesday at 1:37 p.m. of a vehicle that appeared to be keyed while in the parking lot of a business in the 2600 block of First Street South.
