Recovered weapon

WILLMAR — A caller reported at 12:52 p.m. Thursday they found a handgun in the driveway of a residence in the 1000 block of Sixth Street Southwest. According to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s report, the caller believed the weapon was used in a shooting.

Arrest

SPICER — A 33-year-old man was arrested on Kandiyohi County warrants at 2:55 p.m. Thursday in the 8000 block of North Shore Drive in Spicer. The man was in custody at the Kandiyohi County Jail as of noon Friday. He has pending drug possession and theft charges.

Criminal damage to property

WILLMAR — A caller reported at 8:57 a.m. Friday that windows had been smashed out of a vehicle near the intersection of 10th Street and Becker Avenue Southwest.

Littering

WILLMAR — A caller reported at 10:13 a.m. Friday a party dumping leaves on the boulevard in the 500 block of 13th Street Southwest.

Fight

WILLMAR — A fight was reported at 3:09 p.m. Thursday in the 500 block of Second Street Southwest. According to the report, the two parties were separated and neither wanted to press charges.

Stop sign down

WILLMAR — A caller reported at 8:56 p.m. that a stop sign was falling over at the intersection of 24th Avenue and Fifth Street Southeast. According to the report, the responding officer was able to secure the sign with zip ties.

Trespass

KANDIYOHI — A caller reported at 10:51 a.m. Friday that a person moved into a vacant apartment without making an agreement or contract with them in the 100 block of Eighth Street in Kandiyohi.

WILLMAR — A party was served trespass file at 8:55 a.m. Friday in the 600 block of 12th Street Southwest.
