Willmar calls a city wide snow emergency for early Thursday

Cars have to be removed from city streets by 2 a.m. Dec. 22.

WILLMAR — A city-wide snow emergency has been called for Willmar, starting at 2 a.m. Dec. 22. This emergency covers all city streets.

All vehicles must be removed from city streets by 2 a.m.

Willmar Public Works is also asking that all garbage cans and trailers be removed from streets as well.

Once a street has been plowed curb to curb, on-street parking can resume.
