WILLMAR — Willmar Senior High School has named students of the month for April. Each month, one student is selected from each of the departments based on criteria established by the departments.

The students, their grade and department are Trenton Larson, 11, Ag Technology; Amran Yusuf, 12, Business; Solenne Ruff, 9, English Language Arts; Aubriauna Lemke, 9, Math; Miguel Altamirano Toruno, 9, Multilingual; Luke Lammers, 12, Music; Rebecca Dawson, 10, Physical Education & Health; Cadence Flolo, 11, Science; Than Tin, 9, Social Studies; Alissa Rojas, 10, Studio Art; Xavier Bustos, 12, Successful Life Strategies; Franklin Benavidez, 12, Technology Education; and Htoo Wah, 12, World Languages.

Donna Middleton has been the news assistant since 1992. She compiles the arts, health, farm and community page calendars, as well as rewrites and works on the special sections.
