MONTEVIDEO -- Lola Mae Kranz, 78, of Montevideo died Sunday at the St. Cloud Hospital.
The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Montevideo. Burial will be at Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be Thursday afternoon and evening at Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo, and with the family from 5 to 7 p.m.
She was born Aug. 5, 1927, in Clara City to William and Marie (Uttermark) Groothuis. She attended rural schools.

She married Russell Kranz on Nov. 20, 1949, in Clara City. They lived on a farm in rural Montevideo and she was a homemaker.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was involved in circle.
She is survived by her husband; children: Jim (and Arlene) Kranz of Montevideo, Larry (and Barb) Kranz of Milan, Kathy (and Ron) Arneson of Montevideo, Debra Kranz of Faribault; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and siblings: Eleanor Staggar of Clara City, Eddie Kuehl of Moorhead, Arlene Bussian of West Salem, Wis., Carol Groothuis of Golden Valley, Leo Groothuis of Fargo, N.D., and Bob (and Joann) Groothuis of Golden Valley.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and an infant brother.
