SPICER -- Lorene Darlene Kempthorne, 80, of Spicer died June 25.
The service will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls, Iowa. Burial will be at North Lawn Cemetery in Iowa Falls.
She was born April 13, 1928, in Geneva, Iowa, to Rhina and Fredrick Meinberg. She moved to Spicer in 1972.
She is survived by a son: Bradley Kempthorne (and fiance Heidy Rodriquez) of Parkland, Fla.; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Gerald, in 1980; and a brother.
