REDWOOD FALLS -- Loretta Helen Pistulka, 89, of Redwood Falls, formerly of Seaforth, died Wednesday at the Redwood Area Hospital in Redwood Falls.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Seaforth.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the church with a 6:30 p.m. prayer service and for one hour prior to the service. The Redwood Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She was born June 25, 1919, in Sheridan Township, Redwood County, to Anton and Mary (Kramer) Pistulka. She attended elementary school at District 104 and graduated from Wabasso Catholic School in 1934. She graduated from the School of Cosmetology in Mankato in 1939 and worked in Redwood Falls. She moved to California and worked on aircraft at a Defense plant from 1942 to 1945 and then worked as a dental assistant. She returned to Minnesota in 1957 and worked for Great Northern Insurance in Minneapolis until 1967, when she moved to California and worked with an insurance agency until her retirement in 1984. She moved to Minnesota to live in 2006.
She is survived by her siblings: Joseph (and Maxine) Pistulka of Redwood Falls, Gertrude Wurscher of Redwood Falls and Dorothy Soupir of Marshall.
