COTTONWOOD -- Loris Dale Gniffke, 87, of Cottonwood died Thursday at the Granite Falls Hospital in Granite Falls.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Christ Lutheran Church in Cottonwood. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., and for one hour prior to the service. Military rites will be conducted by the Cottonwood American Legion. Arrangements are with Sunset Funeral and Cremation Association of Echo and Wabasso.

He is survived by his wife: Delores; two daughters; five grandchildren; and three siblings, including Kenneth (and Marilyn) Gniffke of Paynesville.
