CLARA CITY -- Lorraine Alice Haas, 89, of Clara City died Tuesday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Clara's Catholic Church in Clara City. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today, with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service, at St. Clara's Catholic Church in Clara City. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Clara City.
She was born March 19, 1919, in Campbell to Siebe and Rena (Waldecker) Wilts. She moved to the Murdock area where she attended Chippewa County District 32 and Swift County District 33 schools.
She married Mathew Haas on June 10, 1946, in Clara City. They lived in Clara City where she worked as a waitress and at the Clara City Care Center as a housekeeper. She retired in 1981. Matthew died in 1982.

She was a member of St. Clara's Catholic Church where she was in CCW and mission circle. She was also a member of Clara City Legion Auxiliary and a card club.
She is survived by her children: Barb (and Robert) Shinnick of New London, Donna (and Allen) Leese of Maynard, Pat (and Gary) Stutelberg of Clara City, Mark (and Becky) Haas of Raymond; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister: Leona McGinty of Washington.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son: David; a great-grandson; and a son-in-law: Les Jaenisch.
