SARTELL -- Lorraine F. Jerve, 85, of Sartell, formerly of St. Cloud and Montevideo, died Sunday at her home.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Nov. 17 at First United Methodist Church in St. Cloud. Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 18 at Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens in Montevideo.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Nov. 17 at the church. Arrangements are with the Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids. Memorials are preferred to Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Minneapolis and Quiet Oaks Hospice House of St. Augusta.
She was born Aug. 19, 1922, in Holland Township, Kandiyohi County, to Cornelius and Katherine (Van Akkeren) Bauman. She attended grade school in Kandiyohi County and graduated from Clara City High School.

She married Gordon Jerve on Nov. 21, 1945, in Montevideo.
She worked as a secretary: in the Chippewa County offices, Montevideo Methodist Church, Gamble Robinson, and Grace United Methodist Church in St. Cloud. They lived in Montevideo. In 1963, they moved to St. Cloud.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in St. Cloud.
She is survived by her husband; children: Nola (and Dave) Zane of Willmar, Kay (and Gary) Gapinski of Sauk Rapids, Scott (and Nancy) Jerve of rural Rice; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters: Leola Sweep of Willmar and Marion Standring of Big Lake.
She was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.
