NEW LONDON -- Margaret LaVonne Olson, 68, of New London, formerly of New Prague, died Thursday at her home in rural New London.
The service will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Peace Lutheran Church in New London. Burial will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Louriston Township.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Johnson Funeral Home in New London and for one hour prior to the service at the church.

She was born Jan. 22, 1938, in Louriston Township, Chippewa County, to Lloyd and Bertha (Magnuson) Swanson. She grew up in Louriston Township and graduated from high school in Maynard in 1956.
She married David W. Olson on Jan. 5, 1957. They lived in New Prague. She worked for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company for 30 years. She retired in 1994 and moved to rural New London in 1998.
She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in New London and the New London American Legion Women's Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband; children: Julie Von Kenyon of St. Cloud, Brett (and Judy) Olson of New Prague, LeAnn Olson of Willmar; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and her siblings: Bert (and Ruby) Baldwin of Seattle, Wash., and Virgil (and Marlene) Swanson of New London.
She was preceded in death by three brothers.
