RENVILLE -- Mabel C. Pinske, 98, of Renville, formerly of Sacred Heart, died Monday at Granite Falls Manor.
The service will at 2 p.m. Thursday at Dirks-Blem Funeral Home in Renville. Burial will be at a later date at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
She was born Aug. 6, 1908, in Wang Township, Renville County, to Ole and Ella (Olson) Thompson. She grew up in Wang Township and attended District 141 country school.

She married Floyd Johnson on May 19, 1928, in Maynard. She later married Arthur Pinske on Sept. 1, 1951. They lived in Minneapolis. They moved to the family farm in Wang Township in 1978. She moved to Meadows on Main in Renville in 1997 and then to the Granite Falls Manor in 2006.
She was a member of Wang Lutheran Church in rural Maynard.
She is survived by her daughter: Darlene (and Richard) Johnson of Clear Lake; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her second husband; one sister and one brother.
