HECTOR -- Mabel Emma Peris, 99, of Hector died Friday at Kenyon Sunset Home in Kenyon.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hector. Burial will be at the Hector City Cemetery.
Visitation will be for two hours prior to the service at the church on Monday. Arrangements are with Hughes Funeral Home of Hector.
She was born Sept. 2, 1906, in North Dakota to Ed and Bertha (Krueger) Barnick. She grew up in North Dakota and attended rural school.

She married Paul Peris in the early 1930s. They lived and farmed in Renville County for many years. She worked with the Home Extension Group and at the Hector Nutrition Site.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and active in circle and ladies aid.
She is survived by her daughter: Elaine (and Jerry) Dummer of Kenyon; daughter-in-law: Kathlyn Peris of Hector; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister: Esther Nelson of Sequim, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son: Russell; one great-grandchild; and two brothers.
