RAYMOND -- MACCRAY jumped on Minnesota hurler Dan Hennen for five runs in the first inning on the way to a 7-4 victory in Legion baseball action on Monday.
The win was the seventh straight for MACCRAY, which improved to 9-3 overall.
Brennan Madsen led off the bottom of the first at Lilleberg Field in Raymond with a single and soon scored on a Tyler Dammann ground out. Jordan Smith singled and trotted home on Ben Ruter's homer over the fence in left. Tyler Wrebe and Dylan Aeikens followed with RBI hits for a 5-0 lead.
Jordan Smith checked Minneota on six hits and one run before giving up the hill to Ben Ruter who went the last two.
Minneota's 10 hits included doubled by Tyson Sonneberg and Matt Buysse.

MACCRAY (9-3) had their schedule game with Tri-Town this evening canceled because the Black Sox had to play Willmar in make-up of their postponed sub-district game.
