MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Former state Rep. Shelley Madore didn't need the Democratic endorsement to win her party's primary in the 2nd District.
Madore beat Dan Powers, a construction contractor who had the endorsement.
She goes on to face Rep. John Kline, who is seeking his fifth term.
