HECTOR -- Mae Elizabeth Anderson, 81, formerly of Hector, died Tuesday at Bethesda Heritage Center in Willmar.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hector. Burial will be at the Hector City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hughes Funeral Home in Hector and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
She was born Nov. 16, 1925, in Wisconsin to Alfred and Anna (Hallquist) Borup.

She married Myron L. Anderson on July 17, 1948, in Trade Lake, Wis. They lived and farmed in Palmyra Township.
She taught Sunday school and attended ladies aid.
She is survived by her children: Douglas Anderson of Hutchinson, Marilyn (and Jim) Plumley of Hector, David (and Lin) Anderson of New Market, Michael (and Lyn) Anderson of Lakeville; 10 grandchldren; three great-grandchildren; and her siblings; Carl (and Arlene) Borup of New Richmond, Wis., Edna (and Al) Peterson of Hubertus, Wis., Helen (and Dean) Tveten of Somerset, Wis., and Fran McLeod of Balsam Lake, Wis.
She was preceded in death by her husband; and two sisters.
