Jennifer Mages and Adam Butler are engaged to be married Dec. 5 at St. Margaret's Church in Lake Henry.
Mages is the daughter of John and Cindy Mages of Belgrade.
She is a 2001 graduate of Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa High School in Belgrade and a 2004 graduate of the University of Minnesota-Morris. She received her master's degrees from St. Cloud State University in 2006 and 2009 in rehabilitation counseling and social work. She is employed by Immanuel St. Joseph's Mayo Health System as a social worker.
Butler is the son of Gene and Susan Butler of Alexandria.
He is a 1999 graduate of Minnewaska Area High School in rural Glenwood and a 2006 graduate of Alexandria Technical College in law enforcement. He is employed as a deputy sheriff in southern Minnesota.
