LITCHFIELD - A rural Hutchinson man is battling life-threatening injuries following a one-vehicle crash Saturday evening in Greenleaf Township, south of Litchfield.
According to the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened around 8:20 p.m., as Jeffrey Conklin, 32, drove west on 190th Street.
The Sheriff’s Office says Conklin did not stop at a three-way intersection with 610th Avenue. He drove straight through the intersection and off the road, crashing into a grove of trees.
Conklin was airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. At noon Monday, he was listed in critical condition, according to a hospital spokesperson.
