WILLMAR -- A 29-year-old Abington, Md., man was arrested for fourth-degree driving while impaired after a hotel clerk reported that the man was harassing him. The clerk called police around 1:45 a.m. Thursday from the Americinn Hotel, 2404 U.S. Highway 12 E.
The police discovered that the man had been driving and put his vehicle in the ditch along the Highway 23 bypass south of Willmar. The vehicle was towed and he was arrested. The man was arraigned Thursday on two counts of misdemeanor driving while impaired in Kandiyohi County District Court.
