WILLMAR -- A 31-year-old Willmar man was taken to Rice Memorial Hospital after he was assaulted with a knife shortly after midnight Thursday.
According to Willmar Police Sgt. Michael Anderson, officers were called to the Double D Club and Bar, 1300 Lakeland Dr. S.E., on an assault. The investigation revealed that the assault was with a knife.
The man's name is not being released and his current condition is unknown. Police have multiple suspects and the case is under investigation.
