WILLMAR -- A man who told staff at a Willmar medical clinic that he had a gun was taken by ambulance to Rice Memorial Hospital and then sent on to detoxification.
According to Willmar police, around 11 a.m. the individual entered the Affiliated Community Medical Centers clinic at First Street and Willmar Avenue and said he had a gun. Staff immedi-ately called police.
The man did not have a weapon. He was intoxicated and therefore taken to the hospital for treatment.
