WILLMAR -- Dr. Nicholas Marcus, DDS, has joined Dr. Daryl J. Marcus, DDS, at the Kandi Dental Center in Willmar.
Dr. Nicholas Marcus is a 2003 graduate of Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Mich., where he received his bachelor of science degree in biology with a minor in biochemistry. He received his doctorate of dentistry in 2007 from the University of Minnesota.
He moved to Las Vegas to complete a one-year residency program with the U.S. Air Force at Nellis AFB. His residency, the Advanced Education in General Dentistry, focused on restoring complex cases involving endodontics, oral surgery and periodontics. After his residency, he completed his two years of service as a dentist at Malmstrom AFB in Great Falls, Mont.
His wife, Jonikka, will be working part time at the front desk in the dental office. The couple has one daughter.
Marcus is accepting new patients and families. Most insurance plans are accepted. The office is located in the Kandi Mall just southeast of Herbergers. Appointments are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The phone number is 320-235-9363.
