SACRED HEART -- Margaret Judith Chelin, 90, of Sacred Heart died Saturday at the Granite Falls Manor.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Sacred Heart. Burial will be in Ebenezer Lutheran Cemetery, Sacred Heart.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the Dirks-Blem Funeral Home in Sacred Heart. Visitation continues on Wednesday for one hour prior to the services at the church.
She was born on May 20, 1916, in Stony Run Township, Yellow Medicine County, to Julius and Anna Marie (Enstad) Hanson. She attended Granite Falls Public High School.

In 1935, she married Telford Chelin in Maynard. She was a member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church for many years and later became a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Sacred Heart. She was a member of the Birthday Club in Sacred Heart.
She is survived by her sons, James (and Carol) of Hutchinson and Curtiss of San Francisco, Calif.; her five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1990; her daughter Muriel Ashburn in 1981; and three sisters.
