WILLMAR -- Margaret Norton, 84, of Willmar, formerly of New Orleans, died Dec. 16 at Bethesda Pleasant View in Willmar.
The service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Bethesda Pleasant View in Willmar. Burial will be in New Orleans at a later date.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bethesda Pleasant View.
She was born Aug. 5, 1921, in Beebe, Ark., to Edna and James Jenkins. She grew up in Beebe and graduated from Searcy High School in Searcy, Ark., in 1938. She attended business school in Little Rock, Ark.

She married William Norton III on May 21, 1941, in Sacramento, Calif. They moved to New Orleans in 1951. She was a piano teacher for 30 years. William died in 1991. She moved to Willmar in 1993.
She is survived by her children: Mary Lynch of Dallas, Texas, William (and Jean) Norton of New Orleans, Ann (and Tom) Wiborg of New London; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother.
