LITCHFIELD -- Maria Elena Kruckeberg, 64, of Litchfield died Tuesday at her home in Litchfield.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Augustana Memorial Chapel in Litchfield. Burial will be at Lake Ripley Cemetery in Litchfield.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Arrangements are with Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield.
She was born Aug. 23, 1941, in Minneapolis to Norman and Mary (Buchta) Wood. She grew up and received her education in Minneapolis.

She married Donald Kruckeberg on Aug. 15, 1959, in Norwood, Iowa. They lived in Minneapolis for 20 years, and then lived in the Annandale area for 10 years and owned a grocery store in Fairhaven. They moved to Litchfield six years ago. She was part owner of Don & Don Trucking for 20 years.
She was an assistant cub scout leader and volunteered as a foster grandparent at Headstart.
She is survived by her husband; children: Don Jr. Kruckeberg of Stacey, Rick Kruckeberg of Watkins, Debra Corbin of Litchfield; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and siblings: LaMont, Richard, Steve, George, Delores, Janet, Geri, Diane, Kathy, Roxanne and Terry.
She was preceded in death by one brother.
