HUTCHINSON -- Marian Louise Farmer, 84, of Hutchinson died Sunday at the Hutchinson Community Hospital.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the start of the service Wednesday at the church. Arrangements are with the Hughes Funeral Home in Hector. Memorials are preferred to the Faith Lutheran Church and to the Heart of Minnesota Animal Shelter.
She was born Oct. 28, 1922, in Swede Grove Township, Meeker County, to Magnus and Emma (Wimmer) Moody. She grew up in Grove City and was educated in the Grove City area.

She married Ceward Farmer. They lived in Grove City, Corvuso, and Cosmos. She moved to Hutchinson in 1997.
She was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in rural Cosmos, Peace Lutheran Church in Cosmos and Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson.
She is survived by her son: David (and Nancy) Farmer of Greensboro, N.C.; daughter: Dona (and John) Brown of Plymouth; one granddaughter; and one grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son: Dennis; and one brother.
