BELGRADE -- Marie M. Osmundson, 88, of Belgrade died Thursday at Paynesville Area Hospital.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brooten. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are by the Johnson Funeral Home in Belgrade.
She was born March 11, 1920, in Williston, N.D., to Albert and Minnie (Dyrdahl) Mundahl. She attended a small country school and high school in Epping, N.D. In 1936, she moved to the Twin Cities where she became a certified nurse's assistant and was employed at Fairview Medical Center.
She married Arnold Osmundson on May 5, 1979, in Minneapolis. They lived in Brooten. In 2001, they moved to Belgrade.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Brooten where she was in the ladies aid, circle, quilting and the food shelf.
She is survived by her husband; step-children: Stanford (and Joan) Osmundson of Andover, Orval (and Valerie) Osmundson of Inver Grove Heights, Nancy (and Jeffery) Robertson of Hudson, Wis., Paul (and Dorothy) Osmundson of Brooten; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sisters: Ardice Neidt, and Viola Sletten.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
