APPLETON -- Marion Elaine Opp, 77, of Morris, formerly of Appleton, died Saturday at West Wind Village in Morris.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church in Appleton. Burial will be at the Appleton City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Zniewski Funeral Home-Vaala Chapel in Appleton, and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.

She was born Nov. 20, 1929, in Hancock to Herman and Florence (Agar) Osterman. She graduated from Hancock High School.

She married Donald Opp on Oct. 6, 1949. She was a homemaker, helped on the farm, and later worked part time at the Appleton Hardware Hank Store until it closed.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church and the MSW.

She is survived by her husband; daughters: Diane (and Dave) Samuelson of St. Paul, Joyce (and Jim) Horton of Carnation, Wash.; six grandchildren; daughter-in-law: Barb (and Phil) Leuthe of Afton; and one sister: Carol (and Art) Durkee of Morris.

She was preceded in death by one son: Ronald Opp; two sisters and four brothers.
