SUNBURG -- Marion I. Hamborg, 77, of rural Sunburg died Saturday morning at the Belgrade Nursing Home.
The service will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hope Lutheran Church in Sunburg. Burial will be in the Sunburg Free Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Hope Lutheran Church and before the service on Tuesday at the church. Arrangements are with the Sunburg Funeral Home.
She was born Oct. 21, 1928, in Spicer to George and Hilda (Anderson) Johnson. She grew up in the Spicer area, attended rural schools and graduated from Willmar High School. She held various jobs in the Spicer community.

On Sept. 28, 1951, she married James Freese in Spicer. They lived and farmed near Brooten until his death in 1960.
On Jan. 14, 1962, she married Orlyn Hamborg in Spicer. They lived and farmed in Norway Lake Township for many years. She was a former secretary-treasurer of her church and was active in the church's women's activities. She was a member of the Kandi Krafters Homemakers Club and the 29ers Card Club.
She is survived by her husband; seven children; Linda (and Wayne) Evenson of Murdock, Gerald Freese of Sunburg, Debra Hamborg of Sunburg, Annette (and Stanley) Dingmann of Benson, Kevin Hamborg of Sunburg, Mary (and Joseph) Urban of Sunburg and David (and Marie) Hamborg of Sunburg; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband and two brothers.
