MAYNARD -- Marion Robert Levitz, 80, of rural Maynard died early Saturday morning at home.
The service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at First Prebyterian Church in Maynard. Burial will be in Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m., at Wing-Bain Funeral Home in Montevideo, and one hour before the service.

He was born on May 28, 1925, to Oscar and Helena (Lange) Levitz in Grace Township, Chippewa County. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Grace Klosterboer on Aug. 28, 1954, in Dawson. He farmed with his brother, Fred, and was employed at the Chippewa County ASCS Office for 30 years. He was a member of the VFW, served eight years on the Maynard School Board and was an elder of First Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his children: Linda (and Lynn) Odean of Rochester, Keith (and Cheri) Levitz of Maynard, Sue (and Pete) Stavne of Maynard, Jill Levitz of Maynard, and David (and Carleen) Levitz of Lauderhill, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Beatrice Magnuson of New London, and Lillian (and Bill) Shores of Murdock.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; three brothers; and one sister.
