HECTOR -- Marjorie Elaine Wulkan, 84, of Hector died Saturday at the Buffalo Lake Health Care Center.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Lutheran Church in Hector. Burial will be at the Hector City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hughes Funeral Home in Hector and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
She was born Aug. 30, 1922, in Elmore to Charles and Dora (Banker) Milbrandt. She grew up and attended rural school in Elmore.

She married Dellmer Wulkan on June 7, 1954. They lived and farmed in Palmyra Township. She taught school for many years in southern Minnesota, in Mound and also in Gibbon. She retired from teaching in 1984.
She is survived by her children: Delfin (and Erin) Wulkan, Susan (and Alan) Olson, Delton (and Tina) Wulkan, all of Hector; nine granddaughters; and two siblings: Ruth Milbrandt of Tomah, Wis., and Paul (and Mary) Milbrandt of Sycamore, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her husband; one sister and two brothers, one in infancy.
