MONTEVIDEO -- Marjorie Fern Bristle, 92, of Montevideo, formerly of Willmar and the Maynard area, died Sunday at the Chippewa County - Montevideo Hospital.
The service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Montevideo. Burial will be in Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens.
She was born Feb. 23, 1915, in Boone, Iowa, to Fred and Eunice (Snide) Bristle. They moved to Maynard when she was 5 years old. She grew up in the Maynard area and graduated from Maynard High School. She attended the Minneapolis School of Business. She worked for about three years in Duluth. She moved to Minneapolis and worked as a secretary in the insurance industry for many years. She moved to Willmar about eight years ago and has spent the past four years as a resident of the Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo.
She is survived by her niece: Janet (and Larry) Bosch of Clara City; nephews: John (and Cathy) Bristle of Maynard, David (and Rona) Bristle of Maynard, and Dan (and Brenda) Bristle of Maynard.
