SVEA -- Mark Allen Tonsfeldt, 56, of Svea died Sunday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Svea Lutheran Church. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar and for one hour prior to the service at the church.

He was born Feb. 27, 1949, in Pipestone to Allen P. and LuElla M. (Herrman) Tonsfeldt. The family moved to Svea in 1951. He attended Svea School District 55 and graduated from Willmar Senior High School in 1967. He received a degree in drafting from the Willmar vo-tech in 1969. He worked for Iverson Engineering and Associates in New London and farmed on the family farm.
He married Laurie Bendel on Feb. 14, 1987, in Lake Lillian. They lived and farmed in the Svea area.
He was a member of Svea Lutheran Church, where he served on the church council and was an usher. He was also a member of the Blomkest Sportsman's Club.
He is survived by his wife; children: Joseph Tonsfeldt, Emily Tonsfeldt, all of Svea; his parents of Willmar; and siblings: Pamela (and Virgil) Fronk of Silver Lake, Debra (and Michael) Robinson of Finland, Becky (and Wayne) Whitcomb of Spring Hill, Fla., and Dale (and Debra) Tonsfeldt of Blomkest.
