WILLMAR -- Marlys Alma Fischer, 90, of Willmar died Friday at Bethesda Pleasantview Nursing Home in Willmar.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Bethel Lutheran Church in Willmar.
Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar.

She was born Oct. 12, 1916, in Wilton, N.D., to Paul and Elsie (Woidtke) Benedict.
She married Gordon Fischer on March 28, 1941, in Spirit Lake, Iowa. They lived in the Clara City area until 1959, when they moved to Willmar. She worked at Schwegman's Cleaners and J.C. Penney's doing alterations. After their retirement, they were caretakers and custodians at Bethel Lutheran Church. She moved to Sunrise Assisted Living. On Wednesday she entered Bethesda Pleasantview Nursing Home.
She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church where she served as a kitchen coordinator and assembled the bulletin and newsletter. She was also on the Library Board and active with Lucia Day, Altar Unit and quilting.
She is survived by her daughters: Linda Mattson of Beresford, S.D., Carol Fischer of Cottonwood, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one brother and two sisters.
