KERKHOVEN -- Marvin "Bud" Roggeman, 78, of Kerkhoven died Sunday at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Oscar Lake Church near Farwell and Kensington.
He was born Oct. 5, 1929, in Revere to Mike and Dorthy Roggeman. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He married Carrie Corhouse in 1949. He worked for the Great Northern Railroad. For six years, he owned and operated a bar in Berry.

He married Marian Headstrom in 1965.
He was a lifetime member of the VFW, Disabled Veterans and the American Legion.
He is survived by his children: Mike (and Cindy) Roggeman of Pennock, Lanny Roggeman of Kerkhoven, Lynn (and David) Sherrod of New London, Robert (and Mary Jo) Roggeman of Breckenridge, Becky Sherrod of Ortonville, Denyce Roggeman of Ortonville, and Lori Negley of North Branch; 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother: Darryl Roggeman; and sister: Arlene Knoblauch.
