WILLMAR -- Marvis I. Hendrickson, 86, of Willmar died Wednesday at Rice Care Center in Willmar.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church in Willmar. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Willmar.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar.
She was born Sept. 11, 1920, in Willmar to Carl and Hulda Struckness. She grew up in the Willmar area and graduated from Willmar High School in 1938. She attended business college and received a degree in 1942.

She married Orville Hendrickson on Oct. 5, 1946. in Willmar. They lived in Willmar. She worked as a bookkeeper at Quinn Implement in Willmar for 17 years. She was also the society editor at the West Central Tribune newspaper, and they also delivered newspapers. She entered the Rice Care Center in Willmar in 2002.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Willmar and had been active as a Sunday school teacher, president of the women's society, circle, and sang in the church choir. She served as an election judge and on the United Way Board. She was active with Senior Citizens and Sons of Norway.
She is survived by her son: David of New London; and one grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
