REDWOOD FALLS -- Mary Ann Kodet, 77, of Redwood Falls died Tuesday at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Redwood Falls. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Bechyn.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the church, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., and for one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Arrangements are with Nelson-Martin Funeral Service in Redwood Falls.

She was born June 29, 1929, in Henryville Township, Renville County, to Peter H. and Anna (Zima) Malecek. She attended District 27 school through the eighth grade. She worked at Cheney's Café in Redwood Falls.
She married Elmer A. Kodet on June 3, 1947, in Bechyn. She worked on the family farm until 1994, when she started work at Jackpot Junction Casino in Morton. They moved to Redwood Falls in August of 2006.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bechyn where she was involved in various committees and of St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Redwood Falls where she was active in the CCW.
She is survived by her husband; children: Elaine Beadell of Sun City, Ariz., Phyllis (and Stan) Abbas of Danube, Betty (and Dan) Bennett of Morton, Galen Kodet of Sun City, Ariz., Don (and Renee) Kodet of Morton, Dennis (and Judy) Kodet of Olivia; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and five siblings: Joe (and Betty) Malecek of Redwood Falls, Betty (and Leonard) Kodet of Redwood Falls, Rosie (and Charles) Dube of Faribault, Jean (and Denny) Weinzetl of Fairfax and Annie (and Jerry) Bemmels of Fairfax.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, one brother and one sister.
