SPICER -- Mary Ann B. Atkins, 59, of Spicer died Thursday at her home.
The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Green Lake Funeral Home in Spicer. Interment will be in Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Cemetery near Spicer.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

She was born June 13, 1947, in Wabasso to George and Barbara (Turbes) Schunk. She grew up in the Wabasso community. She graduated from St. Anne's Catholic School and attended business college in the Twin Cities. She worked in the Twin Cities before returning to Wabasso where she worked as a secretary for the Wabasso Public Schools.
She married Clarence J. "Buzz" Atkins on June 8, 1968. They lived in Morgan, California and Minneapolis before moving to Spicer about 17 years ago.
She is survived by her husband; two daughters: Christi Larson of Spicer and Pam Sisco of Redwood Falls; one granddaughter; brothers: George (and Edna) Schunk of Litchfield and Lyle (and Doris) Schunk of Apache Junction, Ariz.; and sister: Beatrice Burtzel of Seaforth.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
