Emily Mathiowetz, a freshman guard from Comfrey, was named the MCCC Southern Division's Player of the Week Tuesday.
Mathiowetz helped lead the Lady Warriors (6-4, 16-7) to wins over Fergus Falls and Minneapolis by averaging 20 points, five rebounds and five assists per game. She made 9-of-13) three-pointers.
