HECTOR -- Matthew James Plumley, 31, of Hector, died Friday at Renville County Hospital in Olivia.
The service will be at 2 p.m. today at the Redwood Falls Assembly of God Church. Burial will be in the Hector City Cemetery. Arrangements are with Hughes Funeral Home.
He was born Feb. 12, 1975, in Willmar to James and Marilyn (Anderson) Plumley. He grew up in Willmar and graduated from Willmar High School in 1993. He graduated from Ridgewater College in 1995 with a degree in carpentry. In 2002, he graduated from Southwest State with a major in biology. He also worked as a carpenter.
He is survived by his parents of Hector; siblings: Sarah (and Jim) De Leeuw of Willmar; Paul Plumley and Tim Plumley, both of Olivia; and grandparents: Calvin and Charis Plumley of Willmar.
