MAYNARD – A Maynard man was injured in a one-vehicle accident Monday night in Chippewa County.
The accident was reported at 5:54 p.m. on state Highway 277, at 20th Street Southeast, north of Maynard.
According to the State Patrol, a 2016 Chevy Silverado driven by Norman Dean Schneider, 67, was going south on Highway 277 when the vehicle drifted off the road and struck an embankment.
Schneider was taken to Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol.
The Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office, Maynard First Responders, Maynard Fire Department and Clara City Ambulance responded to the scene.
