WILLMAR -- Mayor Les Heitke will present his State of the City address during the Willmar City Council meeting at 7 p.m. Monday in the council chambers at the Municipal Utilities Building, 700 Litchfield Ave. S.W.
In other business, the council will receive the reports of the Public Works/Safety Committee and the Community Development Committee.
The council will consider an ordinance amendment to allow a technology district zone. The council will receive comments from the public during the Open Forum.
School Board scheduled to meet Monday
WILLMAR -- The Willmar School Board will meet at 4:30 p.m. Monday in the boardroom on the first floor of the Willmar Education and Arts Center.

The board invites public input at the end of its agenda.
After the regular board meeting, the board will hold a workshop meeting to discuss enrollment, budgets and school facilities.
The meeting will be the organizational meeting for the year and will include the election of officers and designation of meeting places and times.
During the meeting, the board will discuss setting a Jan. 17 board meeting to approve a new teacher contract, the expulsion of a senior high student, and a climate control agreement.
