Jessica McDonald and Mike Gesellchen, both of St. Louis Park, are engaged to be married May 22 at Centennial Oaks Golf Course in Waverly, Iowa.
McDonald is the daughter of Claude and Sharon McDonald of Janesville, Iowa.
She is a 2000 graduate of Janesville High School and a 2004 graduate of Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa. She is employed by Rasmussen College in Brooklyn Park as the director of admissions.
Gesellchen is the son of Cliff and Jo Ann Gesellchen of New London.
He is a 1997 graduate of New London-Spicer High School in New London and a 2001 graduate of Minnesota State University-Moorhead. He recently earned his master's degree from St. Mary's University. He is employed by Community Involvement Programs as a mental health practitioner.
