Senior Dining
Monday -- Closed, Labor Day Tuesday -- Baked fish, augratin potatoes, beets, peaches. Wednesday -- Roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, fruit cobbler. Thursday -- Pork ribs, boiled potatoes, sauerkraut, Jell-O chiffon. Friday -- Beef stew, molded applesauce, corn bread, brownie.
This menu is for the following senior dining sites. Reservations must be made one day in advance at each of them. Meals are open to any senior 60 or older. Willmar: VFW clubhouse, meals served at 11:30 a.m., call 235-9811 between 8:15 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Atwater: Nutrition site next to library, meals served at 11:45 a.m., call 974-8276 between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Hot Meals on Wheels
Monday -- Closed, Labor Day Tuesday -- Pork chop in gravy, mashed potatoes, squash, peaches, birthday cake, bread. Wednesday -- Hearty beef bake, corn, lettuce salad, apple cobbler, breadstick. Thursday -- Breaded baked chicken tenders, au gratin potatoes, peas, melon, Jell-O, bread. Friday -- Roast beef, pot roast vegetables, corn bread, cabbage salad, cake. Saturday -- Country fried steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, country style vegetables, butterscotch pudding, bread.

Reservations for the Willmar Hot Meals on Wheels program must be made by 1 p.m. Friday for the next six delivery days. Call West Central Industries at 235-5310, extension 219. Meal cost is $4 and includes choice of milk or juice. Special diets are available and labeled when necessary. Additional drivers to deliver meals are always needed. School Hot Lunch
Monday -- Labor Day, no school
Tuesday -- Grades 1-8: Hot ham and cheese on bun, French fries, orange smiles, chocolate pudding.
Wednesday -- Grades 1-4: Diced roast chicken with gravy, mashed potatoes, peach sauce, buttermilk biscuit. Grades 5-8: Diced roast chicken with gravy, mashed potatoes, peas and carrots, peach sauce, dinner roll. Thursday -- Grades 1-8: Spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic bread, garden salad, mixed fruit. Friday -- Grades 1-4: Chicken tenders, green beans, pear sauce, dinner roll. Grades 5-8: Chicken drumsticks, tator tots, green beans, pear sauce, frosted cinnamon roll. Milk and bread are served daily. Bridgeway and Area Learning Center menu is the same as Grades 5-8.
